Cafe Wien, Vienna in the heart of Sofia

Cafe Wien Sofia

Cafe Wien was the discover of the last saturday, a very nice one ! This Viennese cafe takes place in a mansion in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of the Bulgarian capital, near to the very impressive and historical Alexander Nevsky Cathedral and some other historical places as the Basilica of St. Sophia of Sofia or Monument of Tsar Samuil c. Sofia. Despite a location coveted by both tourists and locals, if you do not know this address, close to the town hall of Sofia, you do not think that there is a cafe like this there. Close to the Sofia Opera House, before or after a ballet performance, people enjoy extending and ending their evening here. Sure, having discovered Vienna the last Christmas and tasted some Viennese cafe, when you enter at Cafe Wien, you are immediately transported in Vienna. Everything here reminds us of Vienna, the woodwork of the restaurant, the classical music in background sound, discrete and appreciable, the waitresses in dress, the Viennese paintings hanging on the wall and the leather seats. All this creates a pleasant atmosphere to have a good time with friends or family, in the heart of the historical Bulgarian capital. Alexander, always as greedy, allowed himself to be tempted by a cup of vanilla ice cream and coconut and I the famous Viennese coffee. The menu offers also amazing desserts as chocolate cakes. Here, it is also possible to lunch or diner. A delight, in short, a very nice moment.
