September, und noch bis zum 3. Oktober kann man in Paris das letzte tempor\u00e4re Werk von Christo und Jeanne-Claude bewundern, den verpackten Arc de Triomphe. Christos letzte Geste der Liebe zu einer Stadt, in die er 1958 auf der Flucht vor dem kommunistischen Bulgarien gefl\u00fcchtet war.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Haben Sie schon von Christo geh\u00f6rt? Vielleicht haben Sie das nicht. Aber jetzt, dank des Arc de Triomphe, ja! Christo war eigentlich ein bulgarischer K\u00fcnstler, der in den 1950er Jahren aus Bulgarien floh. Er zog zun\u00e4chst nach Paris und dann nach New York, nachdem er seine Frau Jeanne-Claude kennengelernt hatte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die beiden sind als zeitgen\u00f6ssisches K\u00fcnstlerpaar und vor allem f\u00fcr einige Werke bekannt. Ihre Kunst besteht haupts\u00e4chlich aus der \u201cVerpackung\u201d von Orten, Geb\u00e4uden, Denkm\u00e4lern, Parks und Landschaften. So \u201cverpackten\u201d sie zum Beispiel 1995 den Reichstag in Deutschland oder 1985 die Pont Neuf in Paris.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" data-src=\"blob:https:\/\/madamebulgaria.com\/dce52359-9d9f-4224-9098-c11c0491a384\" alt=\"Arc de Triomphe in Paris von Christo \" width=\"1000\" class=\"lazyload\" height=\"700\"\/><figcaption>Christo in seinem Atelier in New York, mit einer vorbereitenden Zeichnung f\u00fcr \u201cThe Arc de Triomphe empaquet\u00e9\u201d, 20. (\u00a9 Wolfgang Volz \/ 2019 Fondation Christo et Jeanne-Claude.)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Abgesehen von der Tatsache, dass sie im Westen ber\u00fchmt sind und dass Christo Bulgare ist, ist der Hauptgrund, warum wir uns entschieden haben, heute \u00fcber Christo zu schreiben, der, dass der Triumphbogen in Paris von gestern (18. September 2021) bis zum 3. Oktober \u201cverpackt\u201d sein wird. Dies ist eines ihrer Werke (posthum).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Team Christo und Jeanne-Claude produzierte die Verh\u00fcllung des Triumphbogens in Paris (1961-2021) auf Wunsch von Christo, der wollte, dass das Projekt nach seinem Tod am 31. Mai 2020 weitergef\u00fchrt wird. Daf\u00fcr wurden 25.000 Quadratmeter recycelbares, bl\u00e4ulich-silbernes Polypropylengewebe und 3.000 Meter rote Kordel aus demselben Material ben\u00f6tigt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein selbstfinanziertes Projekt - Wie alle k\u00fcnstlerischen Projekte von Christo und Jeanne-Claude wird auch L'Arc de Triomphe wrapped, Paris (1961-2021) durch den Verkauf von Originalwerken von Christo vollst\u00e4ndig selbstfinanziert: Collagen, Zeichnungen aus diesem und anderen Projekten sowie Modelle, Werke aus den f\u00fcnfziger und sechziger Jahren und Lithografien. Es wird keine weiteren \u00f6ffentlichen oder privaten Mittel erhalten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"flex-video widescreen youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"L&#039;Arc de Triomphe, Eingewickelt, Paris, 1961-2021. Der Film zum Projekt von Christo &amp; Jeanne-Claude\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Baa6zXVAjms?start=2&#038;feature=oembed&#038;showinfo=0&#038;rel=0&#038;modestbranding=1&#038;iv_load_policy=3&#038;playsinline=1&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein weiteres Werk, von dessen Verwirklichung sie seit mehr als 40 Jahren tr\u00e4umten und das vielleicht sein Neffe Vladimir f\u00fcr sie realisieren k\u00f6nnte, ist die Mastaba von Abu Dahbi, von der Sie unten ein Bild sehen k\u00f6nnen. Dabei handelt es sich um ein 150 Meter hohes Bauwerk, das aus Tausenden von \u00d6lf\u00e4ssern mitten in der W\u00fcste besteht. Dieses Projekt wurde 1977 von ihm initiiert, konnte aber bis heute nicht verwirklicht werden. Au\u00dferdem w\u00e4re es das erste Mal, dass das Werk dauerhaft ist.
