L'ultimo gesto d'amore di Christo per la citt\u00e0 in cui si era rifugiato nel 1958, in fuga dalla Bulgaria comunista.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Avete gi\u00e0 sentito parlare di Christo? Forse no. Ma ora, grazie all'Arco di Trionfo, s\u00ec! Christo era in realt\u00e0 un artista bulgaro fuggito dalla Bulgaria negli anni Cinquanta. Si trasfer\u00ec prima a Parigi e poi a New York dopo aver conosciuto sua moglie Jeanne-Claude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entrambi sono noti come coppia di artisti contemporanei e soprattutto per alcune opere. La loro arte consiste principalmente nel \u201cconfezionamento\u201d di luoghi, edifici, monumenti, parchi e paesaggi. (\u00a9 Wolfgang Volz \/ 2019 Fondation Christo et Jeanne-Claude).<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A parte il fatto che sono famosi in Occidente e che Christo \u00e8 bulgaro, il motivo principale per cui abbiamo deciso di scrivere di Christo oggi \u00e8 che da ieri (18 settembre 2021) fino al 3 ottobre l'Arco di Trionfo di Parigi sar\u00e0 \u201cimballato\u201d. Questa \u00e8 una delle sue opere (postume).&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il team di Christo e Jeanne-Claude ha realizzato L'Arco di Trionfo avvolto, Parigi (1961-2021), secondo il desiderio di Christo, che voleva che il progetto continuasse dopo la sua morte, avvenuta il 31 maggio 2020. Sono stati necessari 25.000 metri quadrati di tessuto in polipropilene riciclabile di colore argento bluastro e 3.000 metri di corda rossa dello stesso materiale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un progetto autofinanziato - Come tutti i progetti artistici di Christo e Jeanne-Claude, L'Arc de Triomphe wrapped, Paris (1961-2021) sar\u00e0 completamente autofinanziato grazie alla vendita di opere originali di Christo: collage, disegni di questo progetto e di altri, oltre a modelli, opere degli anni Cinquanta e Sessanta e litografie. Non beneficer\u00e0 di altri finanziamenti pubblici o privati.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"flex-video widescreen youtube\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"L&#039;Arco di Trionfo, Avvolto, Parigi, 1961-2021. Il film del progetto di Christo &amp; Jeanne-Claude\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Baa6zXVAjms?start=2&#038;feature=oembed&#038;showinfo=0&#038;rel=0&#038;modestbranding=1&#038;iv_load_policy=3&#038;playsinline=1&#038;enablejsapi=1\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Un'altra opera che sognavano di realizzare da pi\u00f9 di 40 anni e che, forse, suo nipote, Vladimir, potrebbe realizzare per loro \u00e8 la Mastaba di Abu Dahbi di cui potete vedere una foto qui sotto. Si tratterebbe di una struttura alta 150 metri composta da migliaia di barili di petrolio nel mezzo del deserto. Si tratta di un progetto iniziato nel 1977, ma che non ha ancora potuto prendere vita. Inoltre, per la prima volta, l'opera sarebbe permanente.
