Op 19 september organiseerde de Britse residentie in Sofia het evenement \u201cBritish Art of Living\u201d, gewijd aan de cultuur van de Britse levensstijl. We hadden onze uitnodiging ontvangen voor een van de onvermijdelijke evenementen van de herfst. Wat is er aan de hand?<\/span><\/h4>\n

Een van de hoogtepunten van deze nazomer was ongetwijfeld het evenement dat ambassadeur Emma Hopkins op 19 september gaf in de prachtige Britse residentie in Sofia. Met de steun van de handelssecretaris van de ambassade, Tim Buisseret, presenteerde het evenement \u201cBritish Art of Living\u201d ons zowel succesvolle Britse modemerken als\u00a0<\/span>cosmetica en luxe accessoires die ook aanwezig zijn op de Bulgaarse markt dankzij Bulgaarse partners waarmee de commerci\u00eble dienst van de ambassade samenwerkt.\u00a0<\/span>Gasten genoten van traditioneel Brits eten en drinken terwijl ze de nieuwste collectie zagen van prominente Britse bedrijven op het gebied van luxe geschenken, cosmetica, huismeubilair en kleding voor volwassenen en kinderen, en genoten ook van een deel van de residentie ingericht door Laura Ashley. Onder de meest bekende Britse merken, Karen Millen, Ted Baker, L.K. Bennett, Wedgewood, Bronnley, Next, Laura Ashley of Kent Brushes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Enkele beursstands van populaire Britse merken\u00a0presenteerde vervolgens de producten\u00a0<\/span>in een gezellige en zeer verfijnde sfeer.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Ambassadeur Hopkins zei :<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAls Brits ambassadeur in Bulgarije ben ik altijd blij om de grote Britse merken in lokale winkels en winkelcentra te zien. Groot-Brittanni\u00eb is de leider in enkele van de snelst groeiende sectoren ter wereld en de Britse detailhandel is goed voor 5% van het totale BBP van het land. Groot-Brittanni\u00eb is de op \u00e9\u00e9n na grootste producent van luxegoederen in Europa. En het is een groot genoegen om enkele van de meest dynamische Britse lifestylemerken van dit moment onder de aandacht te brengen.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

De bilaterale handel tussen Groot-Brittanni\u00eb en Bulgarije is de afgelopen 10 jaar verdubbeld. <\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

De commerci\u00eble afdeling van de ambassade heeft veel Britse bedrijven geholpen bij het vinden van vruchtbare partnerschappen of het ontwikkelen van hun merken in Bulgarije.<\/span><\/p>\n

Met het evenement \u201cBritish Art of Living\u201d wil het Verenigd Koninkrijk niet alleen de uitmuntendheid van de detailhandel in het Verenigd Koninkrijk presenteren, maar er ook voor zorgen dat het Verenigd Koninkrijk, ondanks het vertrek van de EU, open blijft staan voor zaken. De Britse ambassade zal hard blijven werken om de bilaterale handel tussen onze twee landen - het Verenigd Koninkrijk en Bulgarije - te ondersteunen.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
