Verborgen in de berg, op slechts 12 km ten westen van het beroemde Bulgaarse zomerresort Sunny Beach en 22 km ten noorden van Burgas, aan de Zwarte Zeekust, is Chateau Medovo een etnografisch toeristisch complex dat in een zeer authentieke Bulgaarse stijl is gebouwd om te ontdekken.<\/h4>\n

Chateau Medovo is zeker een plek om te bezoeken tijdens een reis in Burgas, aan de Bulgaarse Zwarte Zee. Het is de perfecte ontspanningsplek als je wilt genieten van een glas heerlijke Bulgaarse wijn, een gastronomisch gerecht en unieke folkloristische spektakels in een lokale en traditionele sfeer.<\/p>\n

Eigenaren van een beroemd wijnbedrijf bouwden het met een nostalgisch gevoel voor het langzame leven van vroeger. Chateau Medovo omvat een wijnkelder, een comfortabel hotel en een restaurant op 9000 m2.<\/p>\n

De wijnmakerij heeft een capaciteit van 400.000 flessen witte en rode wijnen per jaar. Tijdens het zomerseizoen worden er dagelijks degustaties georganiseerd voor meer dan 100 personen. Hier krijg je de kans om te worden opgeleid in oude Bulgaarse ambachtelijke vaardigheden en om vertrouwd te raken met het proces van wijn maken en het rijpen van wijnen in vaten en flessen. In de winkel kun je lekkere wijn of brandewijn kopen om mee te nemen.<\/p>\n

Er zijn ook enkele ambachtelijke workshops, die helaas niet werkten op het moment dat ik er was, en waar je kunt proberen je eigen meesterwerk te maken of gewoon kunt kijken naar de ambachtslieden. Pottenbakken, weven, leer bewerken, suikerwerk maken... klinkt erg interessant om te zien.<\/p>\n

Het hotelgedeelte bestond uit appartementen en huizen. Als eigenaar van een klein bedrijfje was ik zo onder de indruk dat alle meubels van Bulgaarse makelij zijn. Eenvoudig comfort in donkerbruin hout, lichte steen en natuurlijke kleuren.<\/p>\n
