\u201cBlack Forest\u201d van Zoia Deninska en Aleksandra Nicolova van Yoanna Gelato Italiano in Blagoevgrad is gekozen uit de concurrerende smaken door een jury van experts tijdens het Gelato Festival Challenge in Sofia.<\/span><\/h4>\n

Gelato Festival Challenge zet zijn reis rond de wereld voort en maakte op 17 april een tussenstop in SOFIA, waar 12 Bulgaarse gelato ambachtslieden deelnamen aan de zoetste wedstrijd van het jaar, georganiseerd in de Bulgaria Mall door SBI BG EOOD, Carpigiani distributeur voor BULGARIJE. <\/span>De winnende smaak is \u201c<\/b>Zwarte Woud\u201d door Zoia Deninska en Aleksandra Nicolova van <\/span>Yoanna Gelato Italiano in Blagoevgrad<\/b>, een heerlijke herinterpretatie van de beroemde taart met chocolade en kersen. \u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

De geselecteerde gelato artisanaat gaat door naar de Europese finale van het Gelato Festival die gepland staat voor 2020 in Itali\u00eb in het hoofdkwartier van de Carpigiani Gelato University. Smaak, structuur, creativiteit en presentatie zijn de vier parameters die worden gebruikt voor de beoordeling, waarbij de nadruk ligt op de keuze van de ingredi\u00ebnten, het vakmanschap bij het uitwerken van het recept en de visuele impact van de gelato (<\/span>zie hieronder de volledige lijst met deelnemers<\/span>). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

De jury kende ook de \u201c<\/span>Volgende generatie<\/b>\u201d prijs voor de beste jonge gelato artisan (30 jaar en jonger), die ging naar <\/span>Stoyan Avramov van Marmalad World in Varna met de smaak \u201cLemon Cheesecake with Carrot\u201d, een creatieve versie van de traditionele cheesecake met zelfgemaakte geglaceerde wortelen. <\/span><\/i>De jonge ambachtsman zal deelnemen aan de Next Generation Finale die in 2019 in Florence wordt gehouden, waar de beste gelato artisan onder de 30 wordt geselecteerd om deel te nemen aan de 2021 World Finale van het Gelato Festival World Masters.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

De <\/span>jury<\/b> bestond uit\u00a0<\/span>Chef Andrei Stoilov (hoofd van de Bulgaarse vereniging van professionele koks),\u00a0<\/span>Chef Julia Pandjerova (Banketbakkersacademie, School voor Toerisme en Voeding - docent en meester-banketbakker),\u00a0<\/span>Chef Elica Bojinova (lid van de Bulgaarse vereniging van professionele koks - meester-chocolatiers),\u00a0<\/span>Chef Dimitar Klaklov (chef koks van de catering- en restaurantketen),\u00a0<\/span>Chef-kok Petko Kostadnov (patissier en decorateur) en\u00a0<\/span>Chef Sandra Aleksieva (foodblogger en eigenaar van culinaire website).\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Na het debuut in 2010 in Florence, ge\u00efnspireerd door het eerste gelato recept van de veelzijdige architect Bernardo Buontalenti in 1559, is het Gelato Festival negen jaar achtereen doorgegaan met het verspreiden van de ambachtelijke gelato cultuur. Vanaf het begin heeft het Gelato Festival zich verspreid door Itali\u00eb en vervolgens door Europa en sinds 2017 ook in de Verenigde Staten. Gelato Festival zal doorgaan met het promoten van de gelato cultuur en waardering over de hele wereld met zijn weg naar het wereldkampioenschap van Gelato Festival World Masters 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n
