Het is HARTMANNMUELLER's nieuwe performance stuk, op de cover van de editie van dit jaar van Antistatic Festival in Sofia, de Bulgaarse hoofdstad. We stelden het duo 10 vragen over hun aankomende show \u201cmijn zaterdag ging best goed totdat ik me realiseerde dat het maandag was\u201d.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Zoals je al weet, vindt sinds 9 mei het Antistatic Festival plaats in Sofia, de Bulgaarse hoofdstad. Het duurt tot dinsdag 21 mei. We hadden de kans om een paar vragen te stellen, precies 10, aan het duo Hartmannmuller, dat uit Duitsland komt, over hun show \u201cMy Saturday went pretty well until I realized it was Monday\u201d die aanstaande maandagavond 20 mei plaatsvindt. Dit is wat ze ons vertelden. Kom mee terwijl Madame Bulgaria de fascinerende details rond dit unieke stuk ontdekt. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>De editie van Antistatic festival vindt dit jaar plaats in de context van de Europese verkiezingen, onder het motto #votefordance. Hoe begrijp JIJ de slogan #votefordance?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het is een duidelijk signaal om meer aandacht te besteden aan dans, aan podiumkunsten. Om ons te richten op waar dans eigenlijk over gaat. Om onze stem te verheffen voor dans en alle kunstenaars in de podiumkunsten. Om dans zichtbaarder te maken.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Past uw voorstelling in de huidige context van Europese sociale onrust en de Europese verkiezingen? Zo ja, hoe?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We houden ons in ons stuk bezig met sociale structuren, milieukwesties en machtsverhoudingen. Als personage kozen we de solo-entertainer, die ons vertelt wat we moeten zien. Die onze blik stuurt en ons probeert te misleiden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Je stuk gaat over Shakespeare's meest populaire personage - Hamlet, zijn identiteits-\/existenti\u00eble strijd vertaald naar de moderne context van een verwarrende wereld met waanidee\u00ebn, toch? Waarom heb je deze zeer emblematische verhaallijn gekozen om de worstelingen van het moderne individu uit te drukken?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De figuur van Hamlet is universeel. Zijn existenti\u00eble strijd is onze strijd. Het is gemakkelijk om het in onze context te vertalen. We zijn ons onderzoek niet begonnen met Hamlet. Hij verscheen na een tijdje en we dachten hem te gebruiken, zijn karakter zou ons kunnen helpen in ons zelfbewustzijn. Welke rol speelt satire\/humor in je voorstelling?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De twee stijlmiddelen satire en humor spelen altijd een zeer grote rol in onze voorstellingen. We willen ons publiek niet op een directe manier confronteren of overtuigen. We spelen met deze elementen om onze idee\u00ebn en wensen dichterbij te brengen of om een kans te geven er op een andere manier naar te kijken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Welke \u201cclich\u00e9s\u201d en stereotypen buit je uit?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E\u00e9n personage is echt de eenzame entertainer. Hij speelt zijn rol voor altijd. Verandert nooit iets. Hij is een marionet van de popcultuur. De andere persoon is de jonge Hamlet. Voortdurend bezig met zijn moeder. Net zoals wij steeds weer werken aan de belangrijke vragen van deze wereld. Uiteindelijk zijn we net zo slim als voorheen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>En in hoeverre past jouw choreografie eigenlijk in de hedendaagse danscontext van Antistatic?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We denken dat onze voorstelling geen gewone hedendaagse dansvoorstelling is. We krassen op de lijnen van podiumkunsten. Het is queer. Het is onderhoudend. Het is subversief tegen onze maatschappij. Het is brutaal. Het is luid. Kun je de definitie van dans beperken tot bepaalde vormen van lichaamsuitdrukkingen, is performance een dansvorm?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ja natuurlijk, dans omvat alle lichaamsuitdrukkingen! Beweging is alles - je lichaam is constant in beweging. Dit is dans! De afgelopen jaren is performance een dansvorm geworden. Het is moeilijk om onderscheid te maken tussen dans en podiumkunsten omdat er in feite een grote fusie is tussen de twee kunstvormen. Dans en podiumkunsten categoriseren zou het weer kleiner maken. Het is onbegrensd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hoe zit het met het muzikale aspect van je stuk? Welke rol speelt de muzikale compositie in je stuk?&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Het muzikale aspect speelt een grote rol in dit stuk. Het leidt en begeleidt de avond. Het ondersteunt de performer. Het is ook de eenvoud ervan, wat ons aantrekt.
