Mensen die er geweest zijn, weten dat Bulgarije een geweldig Europees land is met talloze historische, culturele en natuurlijke bezienswaardigheden. Bovendien maakt een groot deel van de sites in het land deel uit van het UNESCO Werelderfgoed en zijn ze zeker de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Hieronder vind je de 10 Bulgaarse UNESCO Werelderfgoedlocaties die je moet ontdekken. <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:51px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Oude stad Nessebar&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SINDS 1983.<\/strong> Een van de oudste steden van Europa - meer dan 3000 jaar oud - is een eiland in de Zwarte Zee in Bulgarije. Thraci\u00ebrs vonden het duizenden jaren geleden toen het bekend stond onder de naam \u201cMessembria\u201d. Een van de bezienswaardigheden in Nessebar is het Archeologisch Museum waar de meeste historische artefacten worden tentoongesteld. Nessebar is zeker een van de 10 Bulgaarse UNESCO Werelderfgoederen die je moet bezoeken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-instagram wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CFoUrCwDN4_\/\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>De Thracische graftombe van Kazanlak<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SINDS 1979.<\/strong> De Thracische graftombe werd ontdekt in 1944 en ligt in een park in Kazanlak. De tombe die toegankelijk is voor bezoekers is een exacte kopie van de echte tombe - gesloten voor toeristen om deze te behouden. De originele tombe dateert uit de 4e - 3e eeuw voor Christus en staat bekend om de zeer goed bewaard gebleven muurschilderingen in de hal en de koepelkamer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-instagram wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BwucResACY6\/\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>De uit de rotsen gehouwen kerken van Ivanovo<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SINDS 1979. <\/strong>In het Bulgaarse UNESCO Werelderfgoed vinden we ook een kloostercomplex van rotskerken naast het dorp Ivanovo. Het complex werd gebouwd in het begin van de 13e eeuw en kreeg de naam St. De beroemdste tempel is de \u201cSt. Mary\u201d, bekend om zijn verbazingwekkend goed bewaarde fresco's.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-instagram wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/Bzyl93fHVZG\/\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Nationaal park Pirin&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SINDS 1983.<\/strong> Het park ligt in het Pirin-gebergte en staat wereldwijd bekend om zijn gletsjermeren, dennenbossen en een gevarieerde fauna en flora. In het park Bayuvi Dupki liggen twee reservaten genaamd Ulen en Dzhindzhiritsa. Er zijn ook veel wandelroutes die naar verschillende bezienswaardigheden leiden, zoals de oudste boom in Bulgarije - de Baykusheva spar, die meer dan 1300 jaar oud is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-instagram wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/B3pxAktH9Eq\/\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Madara ruiter<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SINDS 1979. <\/strong>Dit is een 23 meter hoog beeldhouwwerk in een rots gemaakt door een onbekende kunstenaar. Hoewel het meer dan 1000 jaar oud is, is het tafereel van een ruiter met een speer, een jachthond en een gewonde leeuw, die aan de voeten van het paard is gevallen, nog steeds duidelijk zichtbaar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-instagram wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CDFGomlhmmU\/\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Natuurreservaat Srebrena<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SINDS 1983.<\/strong> Het werd opgenomen in de UNESCO-lijst voornamelijk vanwege de zeldzame vogelsoorten die hier nestelen. Het doel hiervan was om de biodiversiteit van de regio te beschermen. Er is een biosfeerreservaat vlakbij het dorp Srebarna op ongeveer 2 kilometer ten zuiden van de rivier de Donau. Onvergetelijke plek om te verkennen in Bulgarije. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-instagram wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CCVI_IqAlyy\/\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Beukenbossen in het centrale Balkanpark<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>VANAF 2019.<\/strong> Dat is een van de grootste beschermde gebieden in Europa, vooral vanwege de oerbeukenbossen die worden beschouwd als de meest waardevolle natuurlijke fauna in de regio. Ze zijn een vitaal onderdeel van het Europese beukenbossencomplex dat nog eens 11 landen omvat. Sinds 1983 maken twee van de meest emblematische natuurgebieden van Bulgarije (Nationaal Park Pirin en Natuurreservaat Srebarna) deel uit van deze lijst.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bnr.bg\/en\/post\/101099614\/beech-forests-in-central-balkan-park-are-already-part-of-unesco-list-of-natural-heritage\">Meer over Central Balkan Park.<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Rila klooster<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>SINDS 1983.<\/strong> Het Rilaklooster ligt in het hart van de Rilageberg en werd gebouwd in de tiende eeuw. Het kloostercomplex strekt zich uit over een oppervlakte van 8.800 vierkante meter en heeft bijna 300 kamers. Er is een museum met de belangrijkste artefacten en historische informatie. De kerk werd gesticht in de 10e -11e eeuw.
