Launched in September 2016 for the first edition, Sofia Restaurant Week is a week-long festival in celebration of the diversity and quality of Sofia’s restaurants. Here all you need to know about this very special tasting week.
What : Sofia Restaurant Week « SRW » is a very special and dynamic Festival in celebration of the diversity and quality of Sofia’s restaurants. For its first edition last September 2016, more than 6000 people tried out Sofia’s most exciting restaurants. During this delicious week, participating restaurants will offer a 3 course set menu (not including drinks and tips). First course : salad, starter or soup; for second course a main dish and the third course, a dessert. Those restaurants have been chosen for the high quality of their food, excellence in service, a special interior, a feature garden or another outstanding feature.
Who is organizing the SRW : Sofia Restaurant Week is organised by the leading electronic and print guides in Bulgarian and English for entertainment, restaurants and bars in Sofia : Zavedenia.bg and Sofia In Your Pocket.
Where : The Sofia Restaurant Week Festival takes place in Sofia, the Bulgarian capital (we hope very soon everywhere in Bulgaria).
When : During 1 week, from 7th to 13th May, for the lunch or the Dinner (or the both), you can chose to taste the special menu of a participating restaurant and according the places still available, you can book in all the restaurants if you wish and thus taste all menus (and forget your bikini for only one week…).
How many restaurants : no only 1, no only 10 but 25 restaurants ! are participating in the 2017 edition of Sofia Restaurant Week. 2 of them are offering a choice of two locations, making 27 locations in all. You can find the list of restaurants, their menus and contact details here.
The price : The price is very accessible. « Oh My God », only 25 leva to taste one of the amazing 3 course set menu of one of those 25 restaurants. At this price, you invite all your family for your birthday, even if you are borned in December … Sure, you will find all kinds of occasions to participate.
How to book : Make a reservation via the booking system on sofiarestaurantweek.com or the App, which you can download from iTunes and Google Play. You can also book directly by phone, mentioning you are coming for the Sofia Restaurant Week menu. We recommend you book via our booking system in order to receive special offers from our partners. You can chose to book for the lunch or the Dinner to the schedule you want according the the places still available. If your booking is well registered, you receive on you email box the confirmation of it with your ticket. In order to cancel your reservation, you can send an email to reservations@restaurantweek.bg or simply click the link, which you habe in your email after you have booked.
Of course, we will participate tasting one of those restaurants and we know already which one. We will tell you more about this soon tasty experience.
