What would be November without his Beaujolais Nouveau ? The Beaujolais Nouveau was created in the early 1950s. It is a wine from the Beaujolais appellation, made using a particular winemaking technique that gives it the characteristic fruity aromas of the gamay grape variety. This is a good wine to drink young. It is marketed every year from the third Thursday in November, only a few months after the harvest (hence the term « new »).
