Smuggler’s Diner : Sunday Brunch

Do you like to brunch on Sunday morning and to discover new places in Sofia ? If this is the case, I absolutely have to share with you my last brunch. It was at Smuggler’s Diner restaurant. Do you know this place in Sofia ? 

Since I live in Sofia, I use to go at Smuggler’s Diner once a week. Why so much passion when there are many other delicious restaurants to discover in Sofia ? Smuggler’s Diner restaurant is mainly known to be a place where you can eat delicious burgers. It’s definitely the place to go in Sofia if you want to eat burgers.

When you step in, it definitely looks like a piece of America just in the middle of Sofia. A smell of homemade food welcomes you. The waitresses, dressed like in your typical 1960’s US road side restaurants, are very smily and attentive.

Smuggler’s Diner Restaurant proposes seven different burgers for every taste : Cheese Burger, Khan Burger, Veggie Burger, Mexican Burger, Godfather Burger, Smuggler’s Burger and Mac&chicken Burger. I have tested all of them and they are all very different and typical. The prices are very accessible and the clientele is rather young and dynamic, sometimes international.

I have never been disappointed and the service is always great ! The restaurant proposes also three salads, six appetizers, BBQ meal as pork ribs or the « Memphis » BBQ ribs, three sandwiches and three homemade desserts, every day.

Don’t worry , I have not eaten all of that! I was not alone but with some friends to whom we proposed to join us to take a brunch here :-).

Last Sunday was the first time I tested a meal different from burger at Smuggler’s Diner. So, it was a real pleasure to discover that I could brunch every weekend at this place.

 

Every weekend, Smuggler’s Diner restaurant propose a brunch. It consists of : 3 eggs sunny side up with cripsy bacon, tomatoes, 2 french toasts, butter, 2 pancakes with maple syrup, 2 sausages, white beans in red sauce and unlimited coffee, for 13 levas.

I can say that for a country for which it’s not the speciality, it was delicious. All the products were fresh and the digestion was easy. We were installed in the restaurant’s courtyard, very calm and sunny.

I can say « I will come back » to have a brunch during the weekend at Smuggler’s Diner restaurant, definitely.
