Last week was the fourth week studying Bulgarian with the suggestopedia method used at the Go Beyond Suggestopedia Center in Sofia. What’s more about ?
We had the pleasure to welcome a special guest, called Sibina Radenkova, a young and very nice Bulgarian singer and dancer. During about one hour and half Sibina, from Avigeya, told us in Bulgarian, of course, everything about the different traditional songs and dances in the different regions of Bulgaria. We also have been able to listen to her beautiful voice and feel totally immersed in the Bulgarian traditions. Later on, she taught us some rudiments of Bulgarian folk dance called “Хоро“ in Bulgarian (pronounced Horo) and we had a lot of fun. After a few minutes we could feel the power of the group. It seemed like we were all united and felt like one. Bulgaria is very famous for its natural energy. Some people might believe in it or not but these dance, apparently, allow people to be in communion with the earth. Sibina was just wonderful and very smiling. She came to visit us, dressed with a gorgeous and well colored Bulgarian traditional dress and it was a real pleasure for all of us to get introduced to Bulgarian traditions in a so realistic way. Very nice moment and discovery proposed by the suggestopedia method.
